I'm the Founder L'leMental Essence

Empowering you to transform your mind, body and soul through Integrative Health practices.

A space designed to inspire and guide you on your journey to a healthier and more balanced life. My passion for wellness started a while ago when I was searching for healthier ways to alleviate ailments such as pain where I found that using peppermint essential oil can help instead of taking Tylenol. Consuming a plant based diet helped me to feel better overall. That is still a journey for me, I say I have more of a “plant based diet” where I only consume meat when I have a desire for it. I also searched for ways to help with managing stress and have more inner peace. Through mindfulness, meditation and intentional living I am finding a transformative path that I’m still honing and I am very happy to be sharing this with you as I still go along on my journey and help you to do the same.   

I am a recent Masters graduate from American College of Healthcare Sciences where I studied Integrative Health with a focus on Herbal Medicine. I also obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Health and Wellness with Purdue Global in 2018. There I studied general studies in the field where I learned about exercise, mindfulness and overall health. In my Complementary and Alternative medicine class is where I found I was interested in herbal medicine. I had to create a supplement for my choice of topic and chose Anxiety. On paper I created a supplement that I believed to be helpful in helping someone with anxiety. Through my Master’s program I continued this research and have found many herbs that can help with anxiety to include CBD. For my capstone in my Masters program I chose to research CBD’s efficacy for social anxiety and will be sharing this in various blogs to help those who are interested in this option to help them in not just social anxiety but general anxiety as well.

I believe that true wellness is way more than just physical health. It’s about creating a sanctuary between all aspects of Mind, Body and Soul to include your mental health, emotional well-being, physical vitality, financial health, relationship and social health, and spirituality. My approach is grounded in Mindfulness which means being present and intentional in your daily life. Balancing and prioritizing what truly matters to you while maintaining peace of mind and sustainability in creating habits, routines, and practices that bring lasting and positive change. 

I created L'leMental Essence because I value time, wellness, and I want my clients to have an experience. I want to help individuals rediscover their inner strength and create a life of balance and fulfillment. Whether you’re looking to build healthier habits, find clarity, or deepen your connection with yourself, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

A little About Me

I am at the beginning of my exciting journey towards living more intentionally and embracing routines that nurture my mind, body and soul. My personal goals include daily practices like meditation, yoga, pilates, journaling, and deepening my connection with God through reading the bible. I’m also looking forward  to exploring and experimenting with new plant-based recipes as well as mocktail recipes in the kitchen. 

For me, establishing meaningful routines is about setting a positive tone for my mornings and evenings, ensuring that each day begins and ends with purpose. I believe this intentionality will help me live more aligned with my values and bring more balance and fulfillment into my life. And I’m excited to share  this journey with you and hopefully inspire you to take small but meaningful steps toward your own intentional living practices!
